Making A Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept card payments, all transactions from and outside the UK will be made in UK GBP.

We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express. If you do not wish to pay online, please contact us if you wish to send us the detail by post or by phone.

If you have made a mistake in your order and cannot correct it in the shopping cart, contact us and we will correct the mistake.

When confirmation of your order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Shipping And Handling

Shipping charges apply for all products ordered from the Equiclass website, for customers outside the UK we will apply shipping charges as specified on the checkout page. Customers outside the EU are responsible for any local taxes and/or duties incurred.

Delivery Schedule

We deliver your order as soon as possible.

You must inform us within two working days if the goods are lost or damaged in transit so that we can make a prompt claim against the delivery company and correct the problem. Please quote your order number in all correspondence.

You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received.

Orders are accepted and promises for delivery given conditionally upon our being able to secure the necessary materials, and without responsibility for delays arising through uncertainties of manufacture, strikes, accidents or other causes beyond our control.

All risks in the goods shall pass to the customer on delivery, but the goods shall remain the property of Equiclass until paid for in full by the customer.

Back Orders

If your item is not in stock, or as the majority of our products are bespoke items and therefore need to be produced, in case they are not in stock we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Tax Charges

For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 20% VAT is added. All other orders are VAT free.

Credit Card Security

When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

Warranty

Stivaleria Secchiari takes great care and pride in the design and craftmanship of all their products. Only the very best raw materials are used to the highest manufacturing standards. It is our objective that every product we sell should be perfect.

All products are fully guaranteed against defects in materials and workmanship for 90 days from date of receiving the product. The warranty does NOT apply to ordinary wear and tear or to damage resulting from abuse, improper maintenance or lack of maintenance, negligence, improper repair and alteration or if the product are used other than in the manner they intended to be.

Any defects should be communicated in writing by letter or by email within 7 days of receipt of the goods.

Repairs, Alterations and Afterservice

Any repairs or alterations due to normal wear and tear, damage, lack of maintenance or alteration , replacement of zips can be carried out at a charge, please call us to obtain a quote. Products must return to us in clean condition; any item returned in a non clean state will be returned unrepaired at customers cost.

Lead times for repairs will vary depending on the specific intervention, however all repairs will be sent to manufacturing in Italy therefore allow around 4 weeks also due to travelling times.

Privacy Policy

Equiclass do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' Option. They are also used after you have logged on as part of that process. You can turn off cookies within your browser by going to 'Tools | Internet Options | Privacy' (in Internet Explorer) and selecting to block cookies. If you turn off cookies, you will be unable to place orders or benefit from the other features that use cookies. Data collected by this site is used to:
a. Take and fulfil customer orders.
b. Administer and enhance the site and service.
c. Only disclose information to third-parties for goods delivery purposes.

We abide by the code of practice covering the use of personal data as outlined in the Data Protection Act of 1998.

Made to Measure & bespoke Cancellations

All made to measure and or bespoke products are subject to our terms and conditions of sale, once payment or deposit is taken we deem this to be confirmation of order and will proceed with ordering of leathers and materials. Cancellation is not possible once production of your order has started (usually within one week of order placement); as this is classed as bespoke and is therefore exempt from the Distance Selling Regulations. We will therefore retain deposit or full payment received for the order.

Made to Measure & bespoke Returns

Made to Measure or bespoke products are all made to order so can only be returned if faulty. If you wish to arrange for goods to be returned, please contact customer services on 01249 447742 or by email at info@equiclass.co.uk . If the products are considered faulty by us we will rectify the problem. If the returned goods are found not to be faulty a fee for carriage will be charged at £30.00 per order (to include collection and re-delivery) and the goods will be returned to you with no credit being made to your account or refund given. No refunds will be paid for any of our bespoke or made to measure products.

Fitting and Returns Policy

In the event of the boots not fitting correctly (this is applicable when we personally took the measurements) please notify us within 7 days of having received the goods detailing the concern of the fitting and we will endeavour to rectify the issue at our cost. Failing to notify us within the 7 days we will still be able to adjust the item at your cost but not refund the price of the boots.

Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive.

You are entitled to cancel your order and return the goods within 7 working days for a full refund, including the cost of delivery. Do this by contacting us by email or telephone and quoting the order number supplied to you. Your refund will be paid within 30 days. You are responsible for the cost and risk of loss or damage when returning the goods, so you should take out enough postal insurance to cover their value.

Any goods returned must be in the same condition as the customer received them in. We cannot accept goods that are returned to us soiled or damaged. Customers are advised to remain indoors while trying goods, to prevent damage. Customers who damage goods will remain liable to settle their invoice in full.

Bespoke and made to measure boots are not returnable and cannot be refunded.

These terms apply to your order. We may change our terms and conditions at any time, so please do not assume that the same terms will apply in the future.

None of these terms affect your legal rights and these are not diminished in any way. If any term is held to be invalid under any applicable statute or rule of law, that term is automatically omitted from the terms to minimum extent necessary to comply with the law and without affecting the validity or enforceability of the remainder.
